Family-Owned

Since 1955, C-Dory boats have been a family-owned business. Frank Wright and his sons started creating fiberglass boats in an old dance hall. The models produced were short, between 8 and 10 feet long. They would eventually move to a more spacious location for manufacturing.

Growth Over the Years

C-Dory boats grew under the care of the Wrights, with new opportunities for larger models and innovations. However, the business hit a point where the family decided to move in a different direction. Another company continued to produce C-Dory boats and the other brands after the Wrights sold it.

New Location and Renewed Purpose

Thankfully, members of the Wright family were able to come together to produce the C-Dory boats again under the name Northwest Marine Industries. At their current facility in Bellingham, Washington, they build C-Dory boats for many dealerships all over.
